7 years ago when my wife and I met via an online christian dating service, we had no idea that God would actually call us 7 years later to offer such a service. We have been serving and ministering in the mainstream church at various leadership levels. But in 2003, the Lord called us out for an intensive ministry training. The Lord promised that He would reveal His plans to us, one step at the time. This year 2008 as the Lord led us to make the Internet church more public; and we faced another challenge of faith - the Lord gave us another commission: to offer His people a platform where they could experience true christian dating. First we thought, "Lord there are so many dating sites already out there, what's the point?". But then the Lord prompted us to read reviews of some of such sites and we were surprised to find that many of those big sites claiming to be "christian", belonged to worldly organisations who also happen to promote pornographic videos and operate many more pornogragphic/sex-related websites (visit http://www.christiandatingservice.com for a full review about those sites). It was both a shock and a confirmation that the Lord was leading us in the right direction.
